A Pair of Antique Gothic Carved Oak Columns on Stone Bases

This is a very old pair of columns, they are made in hard wood probably Oak and set on stone bases, they are square at the bottom and lead up to a round shape at the top which is set with a very decorative Acanthus Carved Capital
The Columns are decorated in the Gothic style with a variety of leaf and flower carvings around them, the columns are in a dark stain, and they have a few knocks but nothing serious
The Columns are strong and sound and have a multitude of uses, they do separate into 3, the navy stone base, the centre and the top
The columns are 88” tall, the plinths are 7” high, the bases are 14” square
