A Georgian Brass Inlaid Mahogany Bracket Clock
A Georgian Brass Inlaid Mahogany Bracket Clock with Pull Repeat by Newton & Co c1815
The Beautifully restored flame mahogany case with ebony edging as been inlaid with brass linework and a floral swag above the dial. The intricate inlay to the base framing the painted dial and cast brass bezel. Ebony milling to the plinth finished off with brass cast ball feet.
The five knopped pillar movement featuring pull repeat and rack striking to the hour has been fully overhauled by me personally and comes with a full three year guarantee for your peace of mind. The fine adjustment pendulum has a rather pleasant graded scale to the rod.
The glazed rear and side apertures with architectural brass fretwork allows the bright movement to be seen during operation. With over twenty years experience in restoring and conserving clocks and working on some of the finest and complicated clocks for a select group of the best antique clock dealers in the country.
