This Lovely 19th Century Mahogany Sewing Table is in Great Condition with a Hexagonal shaped Top, with Edge Banding and Central Flower Inlay, opening to reveal a Burr Walnut Underside and fitted interior, comprising one Central Tapering Compartment with Silk covered Lid fitted with turned handle, and various other compartments, Four of which have Burr Walnut Lids, again with turned Handles. The External of the central compartment is adorned with Pleated Silk, all supported by Four Square Tapering String Inlaid Legs interspaced by a Cross Stretcher. The Table has a working Lock with a lovely escutcheon to which there is a key. This is a really lovely piece that would look good in any room in the home.
