1950s Mid Century Vintage Sewing Cabinet
A very attractive vintage storage table, originally a sewing cabinet, made in the 1950s in a typical Atomic style with splayed legs. The frame, drawer and legs are made of solid beech, with contrasting walnut panels on each side and on both sides of the hinged lid. The interior is lined with original gold satin. The cabinet has brass hinges and a brass drawer pull.
The cabinet was originally varnished in dark brown - this finish has been removed to reveal the paler wood underneath, and the lovely walnut grain. It has been oiled and finished with protective wax.
Dimensions:
Width 50cm, Depth 37cm, Height 57cm.
There are minor marks to the wood but the overall condition is very good. Please examine the photographs and feel free to ask us any questions, or request more pictures.
