17th Century Oak Housekeepers Cloakroom Cupboard
A Large 17th Century Oak Housekeepers or Cloakroom Cupboard
This Old and roomy cupboard is made in a medium coloured Oak which has pleasant slightly naïve carvings including the date 1660 and the name T Holme
The two arched carved doors enclose a deep hanging cupboard with many of its original coat pegs there are Five drawers the bottom and it stands on bun feet, there is a moulded cornice on the top of the cupboard this is a replacement but it works well
The cupboard breaks down for transportation and it is in good sound condition considering its great age with only surface signs of use, a few wood worm holes in the drawers so they have been treated
