A wonderful silver plated Stratton powder compact which is in superb unused condition. All the accessories are present. The compact is finished to such a high standard that it will not tarnish or need to be cleaned. The lid is decorated with an etched design the makers named Linen and a hand engraved gold plated butterfly and flowers. The lid lifts to reveal a mirror which gives a good and accurate reflection. The original mirrors stickers are present.

The clasps and hinges work perfectly. The original box, pouch, puff, sifter, instruction leaflet and inspection docket are present. The base is signed Stratton MADE IN ENGLAND. Measures 3 1/4 inches diameter. Weighs 102.7 grams.

This Stratton Queen-Convertible compact is suitable as a handbag mirror and also for use with all loose foundation and pressed foundation pans measuring 59-67 mm diameter.
