SN1144 Exceptional and rare Regency drop dial, 8" fusee, mahogany wall clock by London maker Payne & Co serial number 2050, having cast, brass bezel, lower portion of case having carved 'ears'. This wall clock is in outstanding, original condition. c1830

SN2015 Fine quality, William IV/ Early Victorian of small proportions, longcase clock in oak with extensive inlaid decoration, having swan neck pediment to top with reeded columns and brass capitals, shaped crossbanded and inlaid doors flanked by reeded pilars, panelled base with moulded edge. All standing on bracket feet united by shaped apron. This clock has 8-day rack striking, attractive painted dial with subsudury seconds dial, bludsteel shaped fingers and date apature. c1840

Very impressive, Georgian, mahogany, long case clock, having swan neck pediment top inlaid in satinwood and ebony, flanked by reeded columns with brass capitals, shaped doors with shell inlay to centre, crossbanded edge with ebony string inlay and original ivory escutcheon, crossbanded base with ebony string inlay and shell inlay to centre, standing on bracket feet. This clock has 8-day rack striking, attractive painted dial with subsudury seconds dial and date apature, fine brass hands with counter balance on a minute hand, fitted a high quality autometer- childrens swing.

Description

Excellent George IV oak and mahogany longcase clock, having swanneck pediment top, inlaid in satinwood, flanked by brass capped, fluted columns. The oak case crossbanded and decorated in mahogany and ebony featured attractive inlaid lion to frieze panel. Reeded corners to sides. All standing on bracket feet. White arched dial with rolling moon, painted floral spandrels, anchor escapement rack stricking on bell. Very decorative clock in excellent original condition.
