Description
Large hand made Georgian brass rim lock , with steel wire bow Georgian key .A rare large lock with privacy latch positioned on the surface of the lock .THe key works properly from both sides of the lock .And the lock bolt has a double throw .The lock takes a standard sized door knob spindle (5/16").It has been thoroughly cleaned & polished, and will be supplied with polished slotted countersunk screws .DateEarly 19th Century :
