A large decorative carved hardwood elephant, adorned with brass and copper sheets, skillfully carved to capture the majestic form of this beautiful creature.

The elephants trunk is raised and its back holds a flat howdah (a decorative carriage) also crafted with brass and copper.

A lovely large decorative piece, in very good condition.
