Victorian military strong box
Description
Well constructed heavy chest possibly made in the army for safe storing .Possibly used on war campaigns.Dovetailed corners throughout. The lid has painted 'T S.P 18'. Made from stained pine with copper metalwork. Note the lock is not sprung and there is no key.
Size 42cm length, 29cm depth ,19cm height.
We welcome visits to our 3000 sq ft warehouse in Norwich (postcode NR18 9PX), but please ask first as this is by appointment only. If travelling by train , we can meet you at Norwich Station or more locally, Wymondham Station.
