19th Century Japanese Kiri Tansu Chest

Description
A very nice and charming Japanese Tansu two part chest constructed in Kiri wood. It has gained a lovely patina over time with a raw unpolished surface, the locks at some point have been changed. The handles for the base unit flip up and unterlock with the top section. There is historical woodworm that is long gone.Measures 98cm wide by 43cm deep and 102cm tall.
