Description

Dating to the turn of the 19th/20th century, this is a fine example of a George III design mahogany demi lune shaped fold over tea table. The top has a shaped edge rather than a more common plain half round, it is a solid mahogany construction. The first upper leaf is supported by 1 of the back legs which is on a mahogany hinge and swings out to provide the support. The table stands on 4 elegant legs with a quarter bracket on the top and the sides. The legs circular and tapering and finish with a simple pad foot.

Size: The height is 72 cm, the width when closed is 60 cm and the depth 30cm. When open the table is 60 cm in diameter. The apron/frieze is 9.5 cm deep.

Condition: Excellent, all original and has been lovingly cleaned and polished ready for its next home.
