This stunning, tall free-standing wine rack, has been converted from a combination of Georgian oak, salvaged from an old barn in Cheshire, and an original 1920's cast iron agricultural machine base.
The oak barrel has been completely handmade, using traditional techniques
Fabulous patina to the oak, which is estimated to be over 250 years old
Hand crafted wine bottle storage, made from reclaimed wood
Capacity 41 wine bottles
Cast iron agricultural base, made by Bamfords in the 1920's (predecessors to JCB)
Handmade brass arms, cradle the wine barrel, and support it in place
Original cast iron mangle taps, add an extra design element, and again help to hold the barrel in position
Internal led lighting, on a high quality dimmer, controlled from the rear, adds an extra special element to this wine rack
