Description

Here we have a rare example of a Victorian bronze church bell complete with its timber framed housing.
The bell is hung in a cast iron yoke suspended in two bronze bearings, the assembly is then rotated via a rope wound around the outer spoke wheel.
All iron work and functioning parts are original and in good working condition.
The bell its self was cast in 1870 by John Bryden and Sons and again is in very good condition and has a wonderful patina.
The bell and its assembly is ready to use and could be installed in a tower or operated at ground level.
