Benson, Ludgate Hill Having a 4.75-inch white-enamelled Arabic chapter ring with floral swag decoration framing a gilt centre with Brocot escapement over inscription "J.W. BENSON LUDGATE HILL, LONDON. FRENCH MADE", the two-train movement half-hour striking on a coiled gong, stamped "A.D. MOUGIN DEUX MEDAILLES" and numbered 47526, the arched case with bevelled glazing and cast foliage, flaming torch and quiver of arrows on four block feet h mercury two-jar pendulum plus winded.
