In excellent restored condition here is an inlaid dining table with three leaves that extends it to 89inches. This makes it a very easy 8 seater and will seat 10 with very little difficulty. This Sheraton revival table in Mahogany with the inlays around the leaves round the collar and down the legs is an exceptional find especially with the fabulous set of 8 chairs it is sitting with. It has a further support centre leg making it good and solid. Please note the quality of the inlays on both the table legs and the chairs, in a word superb. Large Antique Extending Mahogany Dining Table Offered for sale is this superb quality very large early Victorian mahogany telescopic extending dining table extending from approximately 54" x 53" to 171" x 53" with five leaves. The shaped top has a double lipped moulded edge and stands on turned and carved supports with original brass castors. The extending mechanism has double runners for strength and stability and works in such a way that the ends wind out past the legs thus enabling such a large table to have only four legs. The mechanism works very well , is very stable and comes complete with original handle, . This good quality large antique Victorian mahogany extending dining table dates to about 1860 and is in excellent showroom condition having been cleaned and sympathetically repolished whilst retaining its original character, the high quality of the tinmber has to be seen to be fully appreciated. The table will take seven large chairs down each side with a further two at each end making it a comfortable 18 seater. Additional photos to follow. Circa 1900 Edwardian mahogany Dining Table to seat 10/12 A versatile and beautiful Edwardian highly figured mahogany dining table to seat 10 with ease. The demi ends have attractive tapering legs with bell flower carving, with hinged leaf attached. This lovely table can be used with the demi ends and hinged leaf to seat 8 or if prefered the extra leaf can be inserted to allow 10/12. A hinged gate leg on either demi sections opens to add support. The height of this particular table allows ample knee room for the taller guests. This mahogany table starting at a 54inch round has four leaves that extend it out to 95inches when all in place. It has a little wear on the runners and has had some restoration in the past but now after we have repolished it the finish is superb as can been seen in the photographs. It has a very good looking turned leg and would sit well with a good set of Balloon Back chairs or similar Victorian ones of choice. This will seat 8 with ease and would not be a problem to seat 10.
