William IV Double End Cuban Mahogany Settee c.1830
This is a superb quality antique English Cuban mahogany William IV double scroll end settee, circa 1830 - 1840.

This is a superb quality antique Cuban mahogany William IV double scroll end couch, circa 1830 - 1840. At this time, England was importing the best quality mahogany from its colonies and Cuba. The frame and fluted turned legs are constructed of solid mahogany terminating in the original mug socket castors. The frame features attractive up-swept arms with a pretty floral carved fascia and a central stylised anthemion crest along with a fan motif at the end of each corner of the settee. The frame has been newly upholstered in a pale gold chenille material. The couch features a lift up swab cushion and two baluster cushions at each end. The settee seats 3 – 4 persons.
This item would look great in the living room, dining room or hallway of any large house. This item would compliment any home so don't miss out your chance to own a lovely piece of antique furniture.

This item is in excellent condition. The frame, arms and back of the settee are solid in joint. The frame has been newly upholstered in a pale gold chenille material and there is no wear, marks or damage to the upholstery. Likewise, the braiding is in excellent condition and is firmly attached to the couch. There is no wear, damage or marks to the upholstery. Free of wood worm, solid in joint and ready to use.

If the item is delivered and left with the customer, a return fee will apply (which is the same cost as the delivery fee). We collect returns using our own specialist furniture delivery company.
