Victorian Staffordshire Dog & Child Figure c1860
This really charming Victorian Staffordshire Figure of a Young Girl, with her arm around the neck of a rather large Red and White Dog, dates from circa 1860.
It is an excellent example of the naive portraiture of the Staffordshire Potters given that the Dog is much larger than the Child.
The condition is good. Minor paint flaking. No cracks, chips or restoration.
