Thomas Walley (1817-1878) - Portrait Of A Child
A charming half-length portrait by Thomas Walley (1817-1878) of a child in a grey dress holding a red toy parrot. Inscribed verso 'Painted Nov 1863 by T. Walley'.
The work has craquelure throughout with a small area of paint loss just above the child's head and pin prick pierce to the canvas to the bottom left corner. The whole is housed in a period giltwood frame.
A really attractive work of good proportions.
