Superb 17th Century Oak Chest Of Drawers
A lovely medium sized geometric design chest of drawers.
Charles II c1660-1680.
This very charming solid oak chest has a projected moulded top, over four long oak lined drawers, opening on side-runners. With each centre of the drawers decorated differently with a pretty geometric design, and applied half-rounded drawer dividers.
The two top drawers each have fragments of newspaper lining, dating from the 1860`s.
With brass drop handles and original iron locks.
The chest has a developed a lovely characterful patina and rich medium oak colour.
Standing on stile feet.
The condition overall is excellent original antique condition, with general expected signs of use consistent with age.
The dimensions are.

Width-94.5cm.
Depth-59cm.
