Sterling Silver Powder Compact Both Powder Types
A stunningly beautiful fully hallmarked sterling silver powder compact mirror for both powder types. Crafted in 1972 by one of the premier British specialist makers of vanities this vintage accessory will delight the recipient. The lid, base and hinge are decorated with a highly textured finish which will not tarnish or need to be cleaned, due to the exacting standards of the maker. The original washable sifter and spacer ring are included. A pristine black pouch will further protect this luxurious accessory. All clasps and hinges work perfectly. The mirror gives a clear and accurate reflection. The mirror bezel is signed 'KIGU MADE IN ENGLAND'.
This original hallmarked silver retaining ring allows smaller sizes of powder pans to be securely installed. Pans of solid powder measuring 59 mm up to 67mm can be fitted in this compact. The standard size of powder pans (67mm) - Max Factor Creme Puff, Rimmel Stay Matte, Miss Beauty and CCUK will all fit.
Measures 3 inches diameter and weighs 85.1 grams.
