Maker: Charles Edwards.
Standing on four stylised scroll feet supporting a beaten body.
Glass liner and cover with arched handle.
Approximate dimensions: width at widest point at the feet 11cm, silver weight 236.7 grams, weight including glass liner 439 grams.
The rim of the lid which fits inside the body looks as if it has been sometime repaired with silver soldering to the cover. Please see photos.
There are surface marks associated with normal use and age.
The body and the lid both carry the same hallmark.
All in very good condition.
An attractive and useful item from the early 20th century.
