These precious little powder compacts that would have been attached to a chatelaine, now are a popular choice as a pill box, with a very useful little mirror on the inside of the lid, these look lovely on a long silver chain.

This little jewel is made from English sterling silver with an interior lavishly gilded and hallmarked for Birmingham 1924 together with the makers initials C & C for the silversmith, Cohen & Charles.

The top of the lid is decorated a wonderful lilac guilloche enamel, showcasing the intricate engine turned decoration below. Excellent condition measuring 1 5/8" in diameter.
