Pair of Carved Rosewood Stools stools pair rosewood
A quite exquisite and superb quality pair of 19th century rosewood stools, having original sprung upholstered seats above a frieze with anthemion carving (all sides match), and raised on elegant turned and fluted tapering legs with original castors. Of the highest quality throughout. Possibly French, or English in the French taste.

Width 22" (56cm) Depth 22" (56cm) Height 18" (46cm)

Condition and Details of Restoration:
These stools are in untouched original structural condition and are completely sound. The polish is has been revived, by our own craftsmen, by hand in the traditional manner. As ever with items of this age, there are minor marks under the polish, though all extremely minor we feel the photos are representative. The upholstery has been re-covered, once again by our own craftsmen, by hand in the traditional manner.
