Oak, painted face, longcase / grandfather clock. This is a lovely, eight day movement clock by robert aitken, galashields. The face is very prettily painted with floral detail, seconds hand and calendar, the hood has swan neck pediment. The case is a lovely golden oak with arched door and shaped apron base.
