Here we have a wonderful rare Victorian Noahs ark and original animals c1890. This was retailed by A J Galpin of Norwich which helps us date the item accurately. AJ Galpin moved from the Market Place in 1900 to the Royal Arcade. They were at Market Place from 1880-1900. The set is in great condition and is fresh to the market coming from a Norfolk farmhouse where it has been from new. There are 90 carved wooden figures in great condition with original paint. Five figures (photographed) need a little restoration. The Ark is in great condition and still vibrant in colour. A rare survivor ready for any good folk art or toy collection. The dimensions are 11 inches high 26 wide and 8 deep.
