This magnificent grand-mother antique clock has a quarter striking German 8 day movement and is decorated in Chinoiserie lacquer designs.
The case is in the classic style of an 18thc. example and with the added feature of a bombe shaped base.
The overall look and feel of the clock is sumptuous and the lacquers are still in superb condition. The clock has a sliding hood and a long door that opens to reveal the long pendulum.
