A stunning Victorian large brass candelabra. This is truly an impressive item. There are six large cast fretted arms and six smaller ones with one central holder. Each arm terminates with a candle sconce. The body has a central joining section with six coloured stones blue, red and green.
The base is triform with beautiful cast griffin feet. The whole of this candelabra is covered with fine chase detail in the casting. When I bought this item I was informed it came from a church in Belgium. It still maintains some of it's original gilding but I have never cleaned it. It really is an impressive thing.
