Italian Painted Nest Of Tables
Very decorative nest of three antique tables in their original paint and with three fabulous Italian map prints from the 16th century.
Interesting maps and showing the orientation as East to the top, beautifully detailed interesting to study.
Ortelius' map of the territory around Verona, in the Veneto, Italy, from the 1579 Latin edition.
The nest dates to the late 19th century and are in good solid condition, with the paint and prints having aged gracefully.
The measurements for the largest table are:
25 inches or 63.5 cm high
21 inches or 53.5 cm wide
15 1/2 inches or 39.5 cm deep Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
