Early 19th.c. tavern settle c.1810. In oak with mahogany crossbanding, typical of antique furniture produced in Cheshire around this time. Low back featuring five fielded and crossbanded panels with a neat shaped detail in the top corners. Slim shaped arms on turned supports over shaped front legs with a pad foot. Boarded seat with a generously feather-filled cushion covered in vintage Welsh blanket cloth.
