One of the earliest and rarest Crocus sets produced . This tea for 2 set in the Globe shape features both green and gold backstamps dating it to 1928. At 90 years old it is in excellent vintage condition with just one hairline to the sugar bowl and minor cosmetic wear from use and commensurate with age. It also has those wonderful areas of dark honeyglaze with large boldly painted flowers. No paint loss loss or scratches and no loss or wear to the green rims! A truly original hand painted Bizarre ware Crocus set. It doesn't get any earlier. Please see condition report
