Charles I, Oak Press Cupboard, Circa 1640
Charles I joined oak press cupboard. The front profusely carved with two cupboards in the base carved with floral panels and guilloche carved frames, the single drawer above carved with gadronned decoration, above this the canted upper cupboard decorated with three carved arcaded panels with floral imagery and double S-scrolls and egg and dart decoration. The stiles and rails carved with S-scrolls and roundel decoration. The fine carved cup and cover columns with ionic capitals.
