Stylish mid 20th.c. brass and marble top coffee table c.1950. Inch thick marble top with a deep thumb moulded edge, polished to reveal hundreds of tiny white fossils of shells and scales within the stone. Raised on shapely baluster legs in solid brass with finial feet and joined with a black iron stretcher. Old cracks across the marble have been repaired and reinforced on the underside. Otherwise excellent condition.
Dimensions: width 42", depth 22½", height 20".
