A Bernard Instone silver bar brooch, decorated with an enamel foliate motif to the centre. Stamped ~Silver~ and ~BI~ for Bernard Instone, this style of brooch is very typical of Bernard Instones work during the 1940s and 1950s. Instone trained at the Birmingham School of Jewellery, then made pieces for the Gaskins and Bernard Cuzner before setting up on his own account in the 1920s. He also then made for Sibyl Dunlop and, eventually, Liberty and Co. The brooch is presented in good condition, commensurate with age. It measures 57mm long, with the centre 14mm in diameter and weighs 3.9 grams (.125 ozt) The price includes UK special delivery. It will be sent in a custom Levels Antiques antique jewellery box.

Items are normally dispatched within 7 days of you placing an order with cleared payment.

Standard Furniture Delivery
You should receive the goods 10 - 14 days after ordering, more time is required for delivery to the Far North and Scotland. The furniture is sent with small independent and friendly couriers, who take very good care of the furniture whilst in transit. Delivery is to the door, but with request the driver will normally assist into a secure place, house, garage, outhouses, etc.
Levels Antiques do not accept responsibility for any damage caused on the customer's premises when the delivery is being made.
