We have for sale a rather lovely decorative copper and mahogany arts and crafts fire screen dating to somewhere around the late Victorian or early Edwardian period.

This very attractive fire screen consists of three panels a central tall mahogany framed panel consisting of a lower section incorporating a glazed picture and an upper section consisting of beaten copper with a central art nouveau floral motif, and two mahogany framed beaten copper side panels each attached to the central panel by two way hinges. The two way hinges allow the side panels to be position behind or in front of the central panel. All three panels are completed with yin and yang mahogany finials at their upper corners.

This striking arts and crafts fire screen is 40.75 inches high, 36 inches wide when opened fully and other than the surface wear one would expect of a functional piece of this age is in a good to very good antique condition.
