Art Nouveau Red Walnut Wardrobe art nouveau arts and crafts red walnut %%alt5%% %%alt6%%
A beautiful circa 1900 art nouveau wardrobe in red walnut. Featuring an out swept cornice with decorative dental mould design to top, this wardrobe also features a large bevel edged mirror to centre which is flanked by two decoratively carved opening doors. This reveals a large expanse of hanging space to the left and right hand sides, with recently fitted substantial clothes rails. There is also an additional small rail fitted to the left hand side for smaller garments. The whole wardrobe stands upon a shaped plinth base, and breaks down into five individual pieces for ease of transportation and reassembly. The item is in excellent condition for its age, with very little signs of wear and tear. This art nouveau wardrobe is still fitted with its original handles an unusual piece of antique furniture as it is completely made up of hanging space.
