Anton Waltisbuhl Oak Revolving Bookstand
An early 20th century oak revolving bookstand by Anton Waltisbuhl.
The bookstand has four tiers of bookshelves and four compartments to each tier or level.
The bookstand has four spaced slats or spars to each side that are held in place by brass screw caps.
The top of the bookstand has a carved rope twist edge and there is a maker's label for "Anton Waltisbuhl. Zurich, Basel, Luzern. Bureau Einrichtungen".
The bookstand sits on a strong metal pole that allows it to rotate and which is fastened to a cross base that has casters.
The bookstand is in good condition and has a good revolving action. (Circa 1905)
