Antique H. Williamson Military / Airforce WWI Pocket Watch - Made in England 1914
An antique H Williamson open face military / air force WWI open face pocket watch, made in England in 1914. The pocket watch is numbered 3 times 52148F: on the dial, the case and on the rim, this is rare.
DIAL: The white military dial has luminous Arabic numerals with outer minute divisions. The dial has blued hands and a subsidiary second’s dial at the three. The dial is signed in the upper centre: “H. Williamson Ltd, London, 52148F”.
MOVEMENT: The anchor lever movement has 7 jewels and is in great working condition however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch. The movement has blued screws is signed: “7 jewels, Warranted English, Astral”
Case: The watch lies in a military steel screw back case back and front with a smooth finish with a military arrow and engraving 52148F. The inner side of the case is signed: “Made in England, Dennison Watch Case Co” and numbered: 90630.
The “crow’s foot” mark is called a “Broad Arrow” which is used historically to indicate that the item is military issue and earlier as stamping to represent as belonging to the King.
