This is an antique decorative stick stand. An English, cast iron hallway umbrella rack, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.
Enthusiastically decorated hall stand with appealing detail
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
Cast iron with a quality graphite finish throughout
Of useful proportion for the entrance hall, and ideal for wet umbrellas
Gothic overtones and beaded detail to the bold surmount
Pierced elements to the back rest, with deer head masque to central shield motif
Prominent stick loop with distinctive decorated brackets
