A Pair Of 17th Century Panels of Ares And Juno carved oak panels relief
A pair of 17th century panels carved from walnut and set in deeply molded pine frames. One panel depicts Ares ( the Greek god of war ) Standing naked with robes and wearing a helmet. The other panel depicts Juno (goddess of marriage and child birth).
Both panels are finely carved and have fantastic colour and patination and are in excellent condition.
