17th Century Oak Wainscot Chair.

A good usable chunky chair with a detailed carved lozenge to the back panel and flamboyant crest rail.

This chair has had a rope seat at some stage in its life and the rope holes are still visible and a later seat and cushion are now in place it has been built up slightly front and back ,it also has a replaced side stretcher ,it is a chair with history.

Good colour and all the character of a good Early chair it is also extremely heavy hence its survival..

18" Deep

18.5" High to seat without cushion

47.5" High to back

All my items can be viewed at my show room in Waldron East Sussex. Shop open Thursday -Saturday or by appointment ,please call before arriving and I will make sure I am available
