Impressive work estimated 17/18th Century Oil Painting depicting a lady spinning wool, oil on oak panel mounted in ebonised frame with gilt edge, bearing a label dated 29.08.88 for Christies Amsterdam verso. [ Cost €8200 Euros 32 Years Ago] this equated to £5300 back in 1988 ( exchange rate 1 EUR = 0.6513 GBP )

ABOUT
Quirijn or Quiringh Gerritsz van Brekelenkam (1622/29, Zwammerdam – 1669/79, Leiden),[1] was a Dutch Baroque genre painter. He probably studied under Gerard Dou, and as a result his paintings from the 1640s and 1650s are similar to those of the Leiden fijnschilders.

Fine quality painting, past full professional restoration.Frame having signs of old worm which has been long dead.Overall very good order in deed for over 200 years of age.

Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt if the item is found to have been misdescribed and the purchaser may be liable for the return costs subject to reasons for return.

Returns authorisation should be requested by sending an e-mail before posting.

Once we receive the item in good order as supplied not withstanding notified transit damage, we will return payment using the same payment method.
