16th century iron bound church poor box circa 1560.

Of board construction with iron brackets to the corners with pierced heart shaped design and iron strap going around the front, back and base.

Coin slot to the top,the hinges have been changed over the years.

By repute from rutland church to one of the wardens for services to the church.

In good condition,a loss to the right hand corner of the base board
